WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO
The founder of Gritty People, Kay Woodburn has spent many years ‘climbing the corporate ladder’. Whilst achieving great heights in that career she also had two children and life to navigate outside of work. Kay eventually hit burnout and decided it was time to press the pause button. During a time of reflection Kay decided there must be another way to achieve her goals whilst enjoying the journey. On discovering that ‘other way’ her career rocketed, as did the strength of her relationships and enjoyment as she did it all. Kay set out on her mission to share these learnings with as many people as she could reach so they too could benefit from the Gritty Mindset.
Gritty people are now a team of people, still led by the founder who still passionately leads the company on the same mission, to help people break out of their box! So, they too can make the changes that will enable them to be the best version of themselfs they can be, whether that’s in leadership, personally or athletically.

How we do it
At Gritty People we work with you to develop your Emotional Intelligence & levels of Grit, we do it in a very experiential way. We create experiences for people, and those experiences allow in the moment responses to help people become more aware of their own patterns of behaviour.
We truly engage learners before joining the learning programme to change their mindset from ‘have’ to learn, to ‘want’ to learn.
The learner will make the decision to attend and therefore concentration and motivation levels are increased. During the learning experience, we ensure the workshops are designed to suit all learning preferences, the learner is encouraged to participate, interact and be autonomous in their learning experience.
WHAT DO WE DO?
We offer a wide range of workshops, which can be run face to face or through virtual live learning sessions, they range from half day events through to full leadership development programs over a 6 – 12-month period.
